VICTORIA VETRI

Victoria Vetri (also known as Angela Dorian) was born to Italian parents (her mother was from Rome, her father Sicily) and grew up in Los Angeles. She studied art at Los Angeles City College in the ’60s before embarking on her movie-television career. Thanks to her beautiful, exotic looks she was initially cast in parts that required ethnic beauties or scantily clad lovelies. She then posed for Playboy, becoming Miss September, 1967, and was later honored as the 1968 Playmate of the Year, becoming one of the most popular Playmates of the Vietnam War era.

Victoria began her acting career appearing on television in episodes of Hawaiian Eye, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Batman, Land of the Giants, and many more before breaking into film in Rosemary’s Baby. She then starred in When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth and Invasion of the Bee Girls (both films will be screened at Monsterama) and continued acting until 1975, when she retired.

We’re ecstatic to welcome Victoria to Monsterama!
