ALI MARIE MATHESON

Ali Marie Matheson is a writer/producer who has worked in all areas of film and television including comedy, drama, family, and animation.

Ali was co-creator of Disney’s popular Halloweentown movies and the Canadian TV series The Collector which played in 67 countries internationally and won a Leo Award for best series. She has won Gemini, Cable Ace and Humanitas awards and was nominated for a Prime-Time Emmy for a Rugrats special. She also wrote the successful Rugrats Live show which premiered at Radio City Music Hall and toured the U.S. and United Kingdom.

In addition, Ali has written episodes of So Weird, Fame, Moonlighting, The Outer Limits (1996), and Amazing Stories, as well as for animated series such as MASK and Police Academy: The Animated Series.

The daughter of writer Richard Matheson, Ali appeared as a student in the film Somewhere In Time alongside her father, who wrote the novel Bid Time Return on which the movie was based.
