Actor/Producer Kurt Christian starred in two of Ray Harryhausen’s most beloved movies.
As Haroun in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, and Prince Rafi in Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, Kurt had key roles in consecutive Harryhausen classics. Within both films, Kurt was able to star alongside some of Ray’s finest casts, as well as facing a memorable array of Harryhausen creations on-screen.
In addition, Christian co-starred with an impressive list of actors like Toshiro Mifune, Yul Brynner, Monsterama alumni Diane Baker, David Hemmings, Michael Caine, Omar Sharif, Liv Ullman, Michael Gough, David Niven, Ann-Margret, Pierce Brosnan and more over the course of his career – and he has wonderful stories about them to share.
These days, Kurt devotes much of his time to physical training on a personal level to actors and fitness enthusiasts in Los Angeles. We’re very happy to have him join us to help celebrate the magic of Ray Harryhausen alongside his co-star from Golden Voyage of Sinbad, Caroline Munro!
